You do not need to diagnose the internal system first. Find the symptom below, try the smallest fix, then check the result.

Windows warns about an unknown publisher
- Why
- The current Meshify installer is not yet code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen can show an Unknown publisher warning.
- Fix
- Download only from the official Meshify download page and compare the integrity information shown there when provided. Do not use a copy from an unrelated download host.
- Check
- The installer you run should match the current Meshify version and Windows x64 build published on the site.
The desktop app will not unlock Pro
- Why
- The editor needs a valid Meshify session, active Pro access and an internet connection. A computer can also fail to register if both account device slots are already used.
- Fix
- Sign in again from the desktop app. If the account already has two computers, open the web dashboard and remove the computer you no longer use.
- Check
- The approved PC appears under Computers and Meshify returns to the Projects screen.
A project or object looks missing
- Why
- The camera can be away from the selected object, the object can be hidden, or an interrupted session can have recovery work waiting on the Projects screen.
- Fix
- Check Layers first. Select the object and press F to frame it. If the previous session ended unexpectedly, return to Projects and look for recovery work.
- Check
- The selected object is visible in the viewport and its Properties appear on the right.
FiveM export cannot finish setup
- Why
- The export path can require the verified Meshify runtime and access to a local GTA V installation for character skeleton data.
- Fix
- Complete the in-app export setup, confirm GTA V is installed on the PC, then choose the FiveM target again. Use Browse to choose an export folder you can write to.
- Check
- The export dialog reaches the FiveM settings and can create the resource directory in the selected folder.
